How we handle corrections
If you spot an error — a wrong figure, an out-of-date ruling, a mislabelled madhhab position, or a broken calculation — please email [email protected] with the page and the issue. We review every report, correct confirmed errors promptly, and update the page’s “last reviewed” date.
Significant corrections
For anything that could have changed a Zakat or inheritance amount, we don’t just quietly edit — we note that the guidance was corrected so returning readers know. We would rather be transparent about a fix than pretend we were never wrong.
Why this matters
Zakat and inheritance are acts of worship with real consequences for real families. Getting the numbers right — and admitting and fixing it quickly when we don’t — is the whole point of an independent, trustworthy reference. Read our editorial policy for the standards behind this.
